Hotel Sovestro - San Gimignano

The little outdoor area was perfect. And we loved the breakfast spread, especially the option to get eggs cooked just the way we wanted! The family atmosphere and friendly staff added to the charm.

We had an a nice size room with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a TV set. We stayed for trip and would use them next time.

Peaceful, clean hotel with welcoming and courteous personnel who help with every request. Great and gorgeous location, on San Gimignano towers. Also - just off a very nice restaurant, of course San Gmigano and Sovestro.

Air conditioning turned off during the hottest parts of the day!!! The noise from the nearby road is not ideal for a supposedly tranquil experience!!! Communication regarding dinner reservations needs major improvement!!!

We were able to visit most of the Castle from the Chianti region Tasting wines, fantastic cheeses, olive oils and some of the most incredible food in the world. The rooms are spacious breakfast incredible and you can have lunch-dinner in the hotel Restaurant absolutely divine food.

Gentle personnel, excellent breakfast in the garden, clean, quiet, spacious free parking and an really excellent restaurant, best wine list, I will go again. 2-3 - minute-drive from S. Gimi.

Possibly, a refreshment in the rooms' furniture would be recomented.

Absolutely charming place, but the pillows gave me a terrible night's sleep, and the gym needs a serious upgrade-totally unacceptable. I half expected a complimentary room upgrade for enduring such discomfort. But alas, I was treated like everyone else! I almost wrote a good review, but just couldn't, really.

This hotel was very outside but very close to San Gimminano. The room was very nice and clean with a very clean and modern bath. Though it was winter, our door was poolside and the pool area was lovely. I would stay here again...though we didn't eat at the restaurant, it looked very good. This hotel was reasonably priced...staff was friendly and very accomodating.

What a great hotel with a friendly atmosphere and excellent food. You can easily walk to the historic center in just over 2 km and stroll through beautiful spots like piazza della cisterna and the nearby gardens that offer perfect views for a city lover like me.

The pool area impresses with its cleanliness. Proximity to town is improved with a regular free shuttle service.

Rooms can feel cold with unadjustable temperatures, and the absence of tea and coffee-making facilities is missed. There's an overpowering smell of chlorine in the rooms, affecting comfort, and the tap water carries an unpleasant taste. A lack of robust dining options nearby makes planning evening meals a challenge, and the limited information from reception can leave you searching for local dining alternatives.

This hotel was very nice, the price was also very good. It was close to the city center. The staff were wonderful, rooms were very clean, and the pool was excellent. I have no complaints at all.
